Jon A. Blongewicz, Attorney at Law, P.A., is the law firm of attorney Jon A. Blongewicz.  Jon is a 1981 graduate of the University of Kansas and 1984 graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Law.  Jon has been practicing in the Kansas City metropolitan area since 1984.  Having worked for two law firms during the first 10 years of his legal career, Jon has been a sole practitioner since 1994.

In those many years, Jon has served hundred of companies and individuals in a wide variety of legal areas.  He has solved legal problems for families and small businesses ranging from divorces and estate planning to corporate formation and litigation.  Jon is primarily a trial attorney with significant courtroom experience, including countless judge and jury trials covering a vast array of legal conflicts.

Jon is licensed to practice in the states of Kansas and Missouri.  He is licensed in the federal courts for Kansas and Missouri, and regularly appears in Courts in Johnson, Wyandotte, Miami, Leavenworth and Douglas counties in Kansas, and Jackson, Clay and Cass Counties in Missouri.

In addition to his legal work, Jon continues to be involved in various local legal associations.  Jon is a member of the Kansas and Missouri Bar Associations.  He has served as board member and Treasurer for the Wyandotte County Bar Association for six years, as well as serving as a Board member of the Johnson County Bar Association, culminating in a term as President of the JCBA in 2004-05.  Jon is also a Fellow of the Johnson County Bar Foundation.  When not practicing law, Jon enjoys spending his time participating in all sports, cheering on the Royals and Chiefs, hiking, cycling, reading and going to the movies.  Jon is married to his wife Deb and the proud father of two children, A.J. and Danielle.
